Acupuncture
is based on the principle that good health relies on the smooth
flow of qi (chi). Qi travels through a series of channel networks
(meridians) inside the body. Many factors can disturb the flow of
qi including injury, illness, diet, emotional and lifestyle issues.
Acupuncture works by stimulating specific points on the meridians
to encourage the body’s natural healing response. Acupuncturists
are trained to achieve this using the insertion of very fine needles,
applying suction cups (cupping) and through the burning of herbs
over the skin (moxibustion).

Recent studies show Acupuncture is effective in the treatment of
nausea, vomiting, dental pain and short term pain relief in osteoarthrits
of the knee.....
.....and that's just for starters!

physicians cannot understand it than Chinese is an experimental
language because physicians cannot read it." Anon
